„The Economist: Svet u 2017“ is organized for the fifth consecutive year in Serbia, and has been already recognized as the event that, with conclusions of the business and political environment in Serbia, closes the current year, and raises the important questions of the country`s development in the coming year.
The conference “The Economist: Svet u 2017” will be held on 15th of December 2016 in the House of National Assembly of Serbia, Belgrade.
As every year, the conference will gather the top officials and leaders of Serbian Government, Vojvodina`s Government, ambassadors, economists and leaders of Serbian and regional economy.
The aim of this conference is to give opinions, analysis, and reviews of the economic environment, investment climate, implementation of the reforms and legislative, as well as about the future steps that Serbia should take on the path towards the EU membership, through a constructive dialogue between the representatives from the Government, diplomatic and economic community.
In the panels, case studies and presentations, a prominent representatives of state, business, economic and diplomatic community will explore topics and try to answer the questions: what awaits us in 2017 when it comes to the EU integration, region and cooperation in the Balkans, perspective in the energy sector of the region in 2017, and what will happen with the regionalization of Serbia.
